Gussie C. Walker passed away on Saturday, April 7, 2018, at MS Care Center in Raleigh.  She was born on September 2, 1922, to her parents, the late Dewey Cooper and Alice Shoemaker Cooper.
She was a member of Kennedy Springs Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughters, Evelyn Buller (Eldon), Neta Black (Howard), Sarah Chance (Phil); five grandchildren, Vanessa Buller, Adam Buller (Cheri), Woody Black (Jaime), Leslie Crotwell (Jason), Matthew Chance; seven great-grandchildren, Brittany, Ethan, Austin, Joshua (Sarah), Elyse, Raegan, Caitlyn and one great-great-grandchildren, Scarlett.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dale Upton, twin infant boys, and brother, Dewey D. Cooper.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 12, 2018, at Goodwater Baptist Church from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. with the service following.  Interment will be in Old Good Hope Cemetery with Rev. Michael Giles officiating.
Arrangements are entrusted with Tutor Funeral Home of Magee.
