Guest Joins Congressional Delegation to Israel

Over two dozen Republicans meet with top-ranking Israeli leaders at the Knesset

Washington, D.C. – Congressman Michael Guest (MS-03) joined Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy and more than two dozen House Republicans in Israel to meet with Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, Minister of Foreign Affairs Yair Lapid, Head of the Opposition Benjamin Netanyahu, and Speaker of the Knesset Mickey Levy to discuss the continued strong relations between the United States of America and Israel.

“Israel is our greatest ally in the Middle East — an alliance that is stronger than politics or party affiliation. It’s our shared respect for democracy, cultural similarities, and Judeo-Christian values that have forged the enduring friendship between the U.S. and Israel,” Guest said. “I’m honored to join my colleagues as we meet with leaders to reaffirm America’s continued support for a safe and prosperous future for the people of Israel.”

Background: Leader McCarthy organized the trip to Israel with Members who seek to better understand U.S.-Israeli relations with the goal of maintaining the strong relationship between the two countries.
