Guest Earns A+ Rating from SBA List for Unwavering Support of Pro-Life Issues

Washington, D.C. – Today, Congressman Michael Guest (MS-03) was awarded an A+ on the Susan B. Anthony List National Pro-Life Scorecard for his work in 2021 to support the Pro-Life movement.

“If our nation can unite around any singular issue, it should be that life is sacred, especially the life of a child,” Guest said following the announcement. “I’m honored to be recognized as an A+ pro-life Member of Congress by the Susan B. Anthony List, and I look forward to continuing to work with the organization and others in the pro-life community to advance legislation that protects the lives of unborn children.”

Last year, Congressman Guest joined the Mississippi delegation and the House Pro-Life Caucus to lead an amicus brief urging the Supreme Court of the United States to uphold the Mississippi law that limits abortions after 15 weeks in the Dobbs v. Jackson case.

“Mississippi remains united in our desire to protect the lives of our unborn children, which is why the Mississippi delegation has come together to support the right to life movement in an amicus brief to the U.S. Supreme Court. This case is a strong step in defending our unborn children and I am thankful for the opportunity to support their right to life,” Guest said following the introduction of the brief.

On the day arguments in Dobbs v. Jackson were heard by the Supreme Court, Congressman Guest urged the Supreme Court to uphold the Mississippi law that would grant states the power to institute their own limits on abortion.
