Washington, D.C. – Congressman Michael Guest (R-Miss) is proud to announce his continued role on the Committee on Appropriations and his assignment to serve on these subcommittees:

  • Energy and Water Development and Related Agencies
  • Homeland Security
  • Military Construction, Veterans Affairs, and Related Agencies

Congressman Guest issued the following statement:  “I am honored to continue working alongside fellow appropriators in the 119th Congress as we prioritize conservative principles, reduce wasteful spending, and ensure we are wise stewards of Federal taxpayer dollars. I look forward to working with Chairman Tom Cole, my Republican colleagues on the Committee, and the new Trump Administration to secure our border, strengthen national defense, protect our Veterans, and support conservative ideals. I will always fight for Mississippi through my role on the Committee.”.

Chairman Cole said, “Congressman Guest is well-equipped to serve on these vital subcommittees. He will deliver results that put America first and uphold Mississippi’s priorities. Michael is committed to safeguarding hard-earned taxpayer dollars and ensuring we meet our fiscal obligations. We are dedicated to building a safer, stronger future, and I look forward to his continued service on the Appropriations Committee.”
