Attention, Fellow Citizens of Magee:
My name is Mark Grubbs, and I’m excited to announce my candidacy for Mayor of Magee. I am a 1979 graduate of Magee High School and attended Co-Lin Junior College. I am married to the former Suzanne Stephens of Magee and we have three grown children and four grandchildren together.
Currently, I serve as Alderman for Ward 1, where I’ve gained valuable experience working within city government. I bring with me 23 years of dedication as a supervisor at the Canton Nissan plant. Though I commuted daily, I chose to stay here in Magee, the City I’ve called home my entire life, because I truly love this community.
Throughout my time as Alderman, I’ve seen firsthand how our city operates, and I know there are many areas that need to be improved upon. This all starts by having clear and concise communication with the public as well as employees. I promise to be fair, consistent, transparent and holding not only myself, but others accountable. If elected as your mayor, I will do this by holding regular weekly staff meetings with all departments and a commitment to follow policies and procedures. I will ensure our local government serves the best interests of every resident and tax payer.
Magee is my heart and my home, and I’m dedicated to building a brighter future for us all. So I ask for your vote, not just a vote for me, but a vote for progress. Working together, we can move Magee forward and create lasting improvements that benefit everyone in our community.
Thank You!
Mark Grubbs

I don’t live in town, but I know a lot of people in town. Need a mayor that doesn’t lie to you
    GOOD LUCK.
