Grant L. Jones, Jr., passed away suddenly on Sunday, September 3, 2017, at the age of 54. He was born on March 10, 1963, to his parents, Grant Jones, Sr. and (late) Mary (Hill) Jones.

Grant was a very devoted employee for many years with Diamond Offshore Drilling as a materials supervisor. He worked in different places all around the world and made many lifelong friends. The hardest part of his job was saying goodbye to his family each time.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and anything outdoors especially when it involved spending quality time with his dad, Grant Sr., and grandson, Brayden, who affectionately called him Pawbug. They loved their special times at the family cabin.  He loved his family and he will forever be remembered as a great son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend to many.

He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Leigh (Sanders) Jones; daughter, Janna Jones; one precious grandchild, Brayden Jones; father, Grant Jones, Sr.; and one sister, Debra (Jones) Nichols.
