Grady Lavon Hutchinson, age 66, passed away at his residence on Thursday, March 25, 2021. He was born on July 16, 1954, to J.P. Hutchinson and Dorothy Inez (Saulters) Hutchinson.

Grady was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church in Mt. Olive. He was known as a man of few words who made each one count. He will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Rose (Meadows) Hutchinson; son, Chris “Puddin” Hutchinson; daughter, Tonya Hutchinson Prine (Casey); Lady the Dog; brothers, David Hutchinson (Martha), Jimmy Dale Hutchinson (Kim); sister, Hazel Junda (Sal); brother’s-in-law, Joe Meadows (Bec), David Meadows (LaCosta); grandchildren, Kristian Corley (Jewel), Jeremy Stuckey, Sabrina Stuckey (Ti), Carrigan Prine (Austin), Isabella Hutchinson and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, all the adopted family and his church family.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Danny Hutchinson; sisters, Dorothy McDonald (Archie), Vera McRaney (Johnny) and Pat Schell (George); father and mother-in-law, Bill and Alice Gearldine Meadows.

Visitation for family and friends will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 26, 2021, at Marantha Baptist Church in Mt. Olive, MS. Services are at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 27, 2021, at Maranatha Baptist Church with Bro. Rudy Jackson and Bro. Danny Adams officiating. Interment will follow in Hutchinson Family Cemetery with Julian Davis officiating.

Arrangements are entrusted with Tutor Funeral Home of Magee.
