May brings not only spring flowers but also graduation! Everywhere I turn, I see someone “graduating” or getting ready to walk that course.
Magee High Schools ‘ seniors celebrated the end of their school year with a class picnic at the Magee Sportsplex. From eating food, to playing games…these young people had fun as they face their last days together as a class.
Sunday, May 17, 2015 the Baccalaureate Ceremony was held at First Baptist Church. Andrew McGee, a 2007 MHS graduate, was the guest speaker. Jeff and Heather Blackwell and Lance and Jodi Word presented the music.
Graduation is scheduled for Thursday, May 21st at 8:00 PM on Trojan Field (if weather permits). In case of rain, the ceremony will be moved to the MHS Auditorium. Anyone who attends graduation must have a ticket. Each graduate is allowed a limited number of tickets.
What wonderful and “memory making” days the students are experiencing. “The best days of your life…..”
