Word of the day is burrrrrrrr! It’s cold! I know the weather folks warned us…but experiencing the icy feel is just different! Again, check your pets, livestock, neighbors, and plants…it’s cold outside.

The cold weather didn’t put a damper on Mississippi football——Ole Miss, MSU, and USM won! How wonderful to have victories for all. I think our Ole Miss friends nearly froze to death…and probably the same for all.

So many people are planning, cooking, and preparing for the holidays…don’t forget those who do not have anyone to celebrate with or even receive a meal. The holidays are a wonderful magical time…but they can be the most difficult for many. The holidays are tough for many people dealing with grief…loss of a love one…memories. Reach out to those people…sometimes all anyone needs is a hug.

Ok, I’ll quit preaching!

The wedding of Caroline Thornton and Waylon Welch held Saturday night was beautiful. The happy couple left to an arch of sparklers. The dark night and the glow of the sparklers gave an almost surreal feeling and appearance to the send-off. Caroline and Waylon married at the Cotton Market in Florence. Best wishes to this sweet couple.

The school Disney Group will be heading home soon! Special prayers for this group. Judging by the pictures posted on FB, they have had a ball. I am so glad the students and families had the opportunity to experience Disney.  These boys are planning their day!

Because my day was wrapped up in wedding, I didn’t learn much Magee news!. I’ll try to do better today!

This is the day that the Lord has made…spend your day in the Lord’s house.

P. S. Always check for updates on “Good Morning”…I add throughout the day!

Stay warm…bundle up…and warm up the car!
