Small Business Saturday is a day “set aside” to encourage everyone to shop local!!! Spending your dollars in your city and county will reap benefits for US…..hope to see you out shopping in Simpson County today!
Ops, …I was forgetful (surprise surprise) this morning…didn’t write “Good Morning” Magee when I woke up!!! Just remembered…I knew there was something I had not done…but then I feel that way all the time! But, anyway, Good Morning, Magee!
Special prayers for Joyce Walker and her family
The family is again at a crossroads in making decisions about her care. Please remember Paul as he travels daily from Magee to Hattiesburg to be by his wife’s side….this is a tough time for everyone and especially during the holidays.
Mrs. Jimmy Duckworth has been moved to swing bed at Magee following an injury (fractured tail bone…near base of spine). Mrs. Jimmy is one of the sweetest ladies I have ever known. She is loved by so many people (her years at the Sanatorium)…and she is blessed with a family that takes care of their mama!
Today is Egg Bowl Day! I have enjoyed seeing pictures on FB of people preparing for the day…the “jawing” back and forth. I’ll be catching the game on TV in the comfort of my house…so ya’ll all just yell loud for the Dawgs! I am so excited…Connor and Preston are here and will be going to the game with Dickey, Lynda and Hudson. Finally, a family game!…something Dickey has wanted all season. Dickey is an MSU graduate and a true Bulldog!
I hope you enjoyed the article on Beth and Lee Moore’s home! I will be featuring Linda and Bill Bennett’s home next! Tickets to the Tour of Homes are $10. The tour is Sunday, December 6th, 2-6 PM. Tickets are available at Simpson County Medical Supply, MageeNews.com, and at the homes on the day of the tour.
Needed: items for the Christmas Shop! Saturday, December 5th. Groceries, toys, personal hygiene items, linens, clothing…everything…help the youth of FBC Magee meet the needs of people in our area. Items may be taken to FBC Family Life Center any day next week.
Have a great day…and share a smile with everyone you meet…some people are struggling during the holidays…your smile might give them hope.
Love ya’ll
