GOD’S FIRST FRUITS
Our devotion today comes from Proverbs 3:9-10. Honor the Lord with thy substance and with the first fruits of all thine increase. So shall thy barns be filled with plenty and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.
Our first fruits of God are church attendance, Bible study, fasting, prayer, caring for our neighbor and tithes. After all of this we then can care for ourselves. God wants us to honor Him with what we have. Give God the glory for what we have. The things we have are not ours they belong to God. He is just letting us use them for a little while.
We must give God part of our day if we don’t then we are robbing God. If we give God what is His we will be filled. Our life will burst forward with new excitement in serving and honoring God. Our church services will not be so dry and dull. We will see people coming to God.
I challenge you to make Jesus part of your life. Come to Jesus by repenting. Take up your cross follow Jesus and serve Him with all your heart, body, soul, mind and spirit. Get excited tell people Jesus Christ is Lord of Lords and King of Kings. Obey Jesus and do whatever He tells you to do. Have a blessed and victorious week.
