The Scriptural passage chosen for today is found in Isaiah 26:3: “You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in You.” The prophet Isaiah knew God on a personal and intimate basis. God imparted to Isaiah as His spokesperson the messages God wished delivered to His people. In this particular verse, Isaiah tells God’s people that their God will provide perfect peace to those who trust in Him, and He’ll do so because of their obedience to Him. Isn’t that comforting to all who claim to be Christian? We have that same calm assurance that God spoke to Isaiah all those centuries ago, because God never changes. He’s just the same. Amen!
