God will lift us up and plant our feet on solid ground.

The Scriptural passage selected for today is taken from James 4:10: “Humble yourselves before the Lord, and He will lift you up.” Oh, my, yes! Let us be humble and submissive before the Lord at all times, and that humility will imbue us with wisdom from on high. God will also reward us by lifting us up above the shadows, and He’ll plant our feet on solid ground. As the gospel song tells us: “Lift me up above the shadows; lift me up and let me stand on the mountain tops of Glory; let me dwell in Beulah Land.” Amen!
