God wants us to look out for those around us.

Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves; do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others.
– Philippians 2:3-4

It is easy to be selfish and only look out for yourself. In a world full of everything that is geared towards “me”, we tend to fall into that mindset and only look out for “me”.

God does want us to look out for “me” but He also wants us to look out for those around us. This includes your family, your friends, church members, co-workers, strangers you encounter. He especially wants us to take care of those who cannot take care of themselves – just as Jesus would take care of them!

Look for ways today to put others ahead of yourself!
