GOD OUR ONLY GOD
Open your heart and mind. Let Jesus speak to you today as you read this devotion. Our reading today comes from Leviticus 26:1. Ye shall make you no idols nor graven image neither rear up a standing image neither shall ye set up image of stone in your land to bow down unto it for I am the Lord your God.
God tells the children of Israel they may not have a God of any sort for them to worship except him who lead them from captivity in Egypt. God tells us today do not have any other God before God himself!
God does not want to be in any other place in our life except first. God has lead us out of our Egypt whether it be drugs, gangs, abusive relationships, self-doubt or anything that takes the place of God himself.
If Christ is not number one in your life, he can be by becoming a child of God, by repenting being filled with the Holy Spirit, taking up our Cross following Jesus and serving him 100%.
Father in heaven help us to serve you and only you in your name above all others we pray. Want you make this week your week of victory.
