Yes, God gave His one and only Son, the supreme sacrifice, so that the shedding of Jesus’ blood on the cross could and would atone and cover our sins. That decision was made made because of God’s love which knows no bounds. Yes, “He did it all for me. Each drop of blood He shed for even me. When the Savior cried, bowed His head and died. Oh, praise the Lord, He did it all for me.” That old gospel song capsulizes it so beautifully. Thank you, God, for providing us the example of pure “agape” love. Today, let’s do our part in response by sharing with others some of the love, joy, and kindness God pours out upon us. We have a work to do. Let’s do it freely and gladly. Amen!
