The Scriptural passage selected for today is found in Psalm 73:26: “My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.” Yes, along with the psalmist, we, too, can say as Christians that although this mortal flesh is subject to death and decay, our hope lies far beyond it and the cares of this earthly existence. God is our hope. He is our strength. He is our constant guide and stay. Let us not grow weary or become discouraged in the course of this life. Let us look beyond to a brighter tomorrow in Christ Jesus. The Word of God for the people of God; thanks be to God! Amen!
