“And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.” ~Romans 8:28

I just recently walked through a bad “tough” experience that really challenged me. It happens & at times it can shake your faith. But you have to remember that those times/experiences help prepare you for the destination God has for you. Like ingredients in a cake. Some (experiences/ingredients) are gross when you taste them by themselves, but when all of them come together, it’s a beautiful thing. Whenever Jesus talked about shaking the dust off the disciples’ feet, he was talking about not letting an offense go to the next city with them.

This was advice given to me from a pastor friend & I really needed it hear it. I pray it’ll connect with you if you are facing one of those “bad experiences.”

Role models can be positive or negative.

Don’t put a lot of concern into what others think of you.
