Glynn Ellis Easterling, Sr., 83 of Mount Olive, MS passed away Saturday, February 22, 2025 at his residence in Mount Olive, MS. He was born Monday, November 24, 1941 in Madison County, MS.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee, 302 Eighth Ave SW, Magee, MS. A Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at 1:30pm at Waco-Fairmount Cemetery in Mize, MS. Bro. Scott Easterling will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. 601-849-5031

He was preceded in death by his son, Glynn Ellis Easterling, Jr.; father, Alfred Lee Easterling, Sr.;  mother, Zillah Ziffah Miller Easterling; brothers, James William Easterling, Sidney E. Easterling, Junior Easterling; sister, Evelyn Easterling Whitehead.

Survivors include his brother, Julius Marvin Easterling (Bobbie); fiance, Mary Foreman; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family.

Pallbearers will be Luckey Easterling, Lance Easterling, Cary Easterling, Jessie Hatten, Christopher Hatten, Braden McKinley, and Brian Easterling.
