Gloria Myers Lumetta, 87, passed away on April 22, 2022, in Collins, MS. She was born in Silver Creek, MS, and lived in many places before coming home for her golden years.
She is preceded in death by her parents Grady Myers and Margie Cook. Three brothers, Charles Ray Myers, Lewis Myers, and Oliver (Bill) Myers.
She is survived by two sisters, Cherri (Leroy) Clement and Theresa (Gwen) Magee, and a brother Gary (Jeannie) Cook. Two daughters; Judy Saulters and Tirza (Ben) Carmichael, both of Hattiesburg, and one son Daryl Berry of Collins. Her grandchildren are Stephanie (Eric) Pace, Felicia Floyd, Shane Saulters, Savannah (Chris) Bertram, Rhonda (Scott) Williamson, Haley (Brad) Roberts, Katelyn Carmichael, and Matthew Carmichael. Twelve great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. A memorial in her honor will be held at Lone Star Baptist Church, located at 421 Lone Star Rd., Collins, MS 39428, on Saturday, April 30, 2022, from 5 pm to 7 pm.
