Gladys Ainsworth Martin, 106, of Magee, Mississippi, passed from this life Thursday July 4, 2019 at Hillcrest Nursing Home in Magee. She was born Saturday, October 5, 1912.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 7, 2019 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee.
Funeral Services will be held Sunday, July 7, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee. The Burial will follow in Merchant Cemetery. Bro John Adcock will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. (601) 849-5031
She was preceded in death by Parents, Sang and Albanie Ainsworth, Husband, Johnny Martin, Son, Bobby Martin, Brothers and Sisters, Edna Thornton, Gathel Ainsworth, Minnie Patterson, Floyd Ainsworth, Rena Reed Ashley, Merle Garner, Herman Ainsworth, Irene Martin, Ruby Gay Dukes, and Eight Brothers and Sisters that died as infants, and Grand-son-In law Mark Locke.
Survivors include Son, Donald Travis Martin and wife Judith, Grandchildren, Dwayne Martin and wife Susan, Lisa Martin, Wanda Locke, Clare Sisk and husband Aaron, Great grandchildren, Matthew Martin and wife Jill, Kristen Martin, Alyssa Locke, and Harper Sisk, Great-great granddaughters Ainsley Martin, and Elizabeth Martin.
