Gibson Selected as Drum Major for Ole Miss

Dalton Gibson was selected as Drum Major for the Ole Miss Marching Band “The Pride of the South” on April 5th,2019. Dalton was one of 11 trying out for 2 available positions. Dalton will hold this position for his Junior and Senior year.

Dalton is majoring in Accounting at The University of Mississippi where he is also a member of the Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College and Alpha Kappa Psi Business Fraternity. Dalton has also been chosen as a Group Leader for The APEX Leadership Summit this summer.

Dalton was also Drum Major at Mendenhall High School his Junior and Senior year 2015-2017.

Daltons parents are Shea and Chris Seghini of Braxton and the late Travis Gibson. Daltons grandparents are Bennie and Arlene Barnard of Braxton and Savanah Booth of Braxton.
