Gertrue Pearce, 93, of Magee, passed from this life Monday, May 25, 2015 at Magee General Hospital.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee.  Bro. Gary Phillips and  Bro. Reggie  Chisholm will officiate.  Burial will be at  McNair Cemetery in Mt. Olive. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements, (601)849-5031.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 from 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee.


She is survived by:
Daughter – Joyce Padgett (Darrell), Houston, TX, Son – William Terrell Pearce (Sandra), Mt. Olive, Son – Robert Cecil Pearce , Mt. Olive, Son – Larry Pearce (Judy), Puckett, Son- Joe David Pearce (Tammy), Pinola, MS, Daughter – Jean Benton, Magee, MS, Daughter – Gail Ferguson (Delin), Magee, Daughter- Alice P Ferguson(Dale), Magee Son – Gary Alan Pearce (Sherry), Magee. Daughter-in-law, Ellen Pearce, Magee. 27 grandchildren, 55 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren and host of Step-grandchildren –great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by:
Father – Alonzo Roberts, Mother – Ella Roberts, Husband – William Terrell Pearce, Sr., Sister – Lucille Sullivan, Brother – Gaines Earl Roberts, Son – Billie Jack Pearce, Son – James Everett Pearce, Son-in-law- Ken Benton.
