Gertrude W. Sullivan, 85, of Braxton, passed from this life Sunday, November 22, 2015 at Magee General Hospital.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at Jupiter Baptist Church in Mendenhall, Bro. Roger Lee will officiate.  Burial will be in Jupiter Baptist Church Cemetery. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of arrangements, (601)847-4401.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM at Jupiter Baptist Church in Mendenhall.

Mrs. Sullivan was born in Simpson County on July 20, 1930, she was a member of Jupiter Baptist Church, and was a legal secretary.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years Charles G. Sullivan, Braxton, daughter  Deborah S. Kees (Robert), Brandon, MS, daughter  Judy S. Head (Steve), Florence, son  Charles Michael Sullivan (Dedria), Braxton, MS, grandchildren  Robert Benjamin Kees (Kristen), Emily  K. Weimer (Eric), Sara K. Kennedy (Zach), Jennifer H. Brewer (Keith),  Jessica Chalk, G Natalie Sullivan,  Abbie Sullivan, and Alexis Sullivan, great grandchildren  Charles Mason Weimer,  Benton Broyles Weimer,  Chole Elizabeth Kees, and Noelle Anne Kees, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Sullivan was preceded by her parents Needham Franklin Williamson, and Lanah Lou Williamson, 5 brothers and 3 sisters.
