Georgia E. Teasley passed away on Monday, December 18, 2023, at Bedford Care in Mendenhall, MS, surrounded by her family. She was born on August 15, 1934, to her late parents, George A. Cameron and Ellen Johnson in Crystal Springs, MS.
She loved her family more than anything; they are a shining example. She enjoyed their get-togethers and cooking for them. She was a simple woman who had great faith.
She is survived by her five children, Joann Toney (Joe), Rhonda Spears, Rita Hodges (Dempsie), Mike Teasley (Kim), and Sue Brown (Perry); sixteen grandchildren, fifty-five great-grandchildren, and twelve-great-great-grandchildren.
Georgia was preceded in death by her parents, George and Ellen Cameron; her husband, Wallace Neal Teasley; her son, Wallace Stan Teasley; and her siblings, Lucille, Rudy, Bonnie and Gertrude.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at Tutor Funeral Home in Mendenhall, MS, from 10:00 am until noon. The graveside service will follow at 1:30 pm at Old Crystal Springs Cemetery with Bro. Kenny Ray Teasley officiating.
Pallbearers are Chaston Bullock, Scotty Bullock, Josh Routh, Charles Seling, Michael Teasley and Doug Truelove. Honorary pallbearer is Joe Toney.
Arrangements are entrusted with Tutor Funeral Home of Mendenhall, MS.
