George Wayne McMillon, 57 of D Lo, MS went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 16, 2024. He was born Wednesday, November 9, 1966 in Jackson, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 18, 2024 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall, 3077 Simpson Hwy 13, Mendenhall, Mississippi. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 19, 2024 at 12:00pm at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall. Burial will follow in D` Lo Cemetery in D`Lo, Mississippi. Bro. Jimmy Errington will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of arrangements. 601-847-4401

George had a sense of humor that was untouchable and was always quick with a witty comeback. He was a dedicated and hard-worker, working as a diesel mechanic over 20 years. He would give you the shirt off of his back and help anyone in need. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He will be deeply missed by all those who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his son, Aaron McMillon; father, James A. McMillon, Sr.; mother, Amy Lou Puckett Murphree; brothers, Jimmy McMillon and Dewitt McMillon; sister, Cathy Moorehead.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy McMillon, Ethan McMillon, Patrick McMillon, Ron King, Brent King, and Danny Hobbs.
