George (Skip) Wade, Sr.
(November 02, 1934 – June 29, 2019)
George Wade (Skip), Sr. 84, of Magee, Mississippi, passed away Saturday, June 29th at Hillcrest Nursing Home in Magee. He was born Friday, November 2, 1934.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 1, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home Magee.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home Magee. The Burial will follow in Zion Hill Cemetery in Mize. Bro. John Barnes will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. (601) 849-5031.
Mr. Wade was a member of Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Mize, Mississippi. He had a passion for flying airplanes and he owned his own plane. He was a member of the masonic lodge. He was loving father and husband.
He was preceded in death by his 2nd wife, Earline H. Wade; daughter, Kim Baggett; parents, Charlie Wade and Myrtle; sister, Mary (Macy) Gunter; brother, Charlie Wade;
Survivors include his wife, Ruby Wade; daughter, Deborah Bohannon (Terry), son, George Wade (Skip), Jr. partner (Darlene Robinson); step-children, Douglas Boyles (Amy), Joey Boyles (Susan), Maria Craft, Dace, Jr., Michael, Sr. ,Scott, Sr. ,Andrew, Sr., Mark and Stephen Hahn, Aleda and Karen Hahn and Toni Crowson; sister, Janice Sullivan; brother, Harry Wade (Kathryn); 14 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.
