George Robert Daughdrill, 88, of Magee, passed away Friday, September 29, 2017 at his home in Magee. He was born Wednesday, May 22, 1929.

Visitation will be held Sunday, October 1, 2017 from 4:30 PM until 8:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee.

Funeral services will be held Monday, October 2, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee, Burial will follow in Hopewell Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Bro. Jay Wesbrook and Bro. Paul Roberts will officiate.  Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. (601)849-5031

Mr. Daughdrill was a member of Corinth Baptist Church. He loved his job with Simpson County road crew driving the road grader for over 40 years. He adored his family.

He is preceded in death by his Parents, Enoch and Letha Daughdrill, Brothers, James Daughdrill, and Ausby Daughdrill, Sisters, Ina Jones, and Leloa Coggins,

Survivors include his Daughter, Patty Stewart (Kenny), Magee, Grand Children, Rebecca Stewart Sullivan (Daniel), and Robert Kenneth Stewart, Sister – Ener Hemby,

Pallbearers will be Jerry Daughdrill, Robert Jones, Willie Jones, Darvin Sibley, Buddy Stewart and Daniel Sullivan. Honorary Pallbearers will be, Robert Daughdrill, Ricky Hemby, James Lavell Jones and Stevie Jones.
