George L. Roberts, 77, of New Hebron, passed away on January 29, 2017, at his residence. He was born on December 10, 1939, to his parents, the late Leslie L. Roberts and Dorothy L. (Hubbard) in Magee, MS.
In his early years, He served in the United States Air Force as an Airman First Class. He was a retired self-employed businessman and was well known in the community. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone.
He is survived by his loving wife, Charlotte (Blackmon) Roberts; sons, Leslie Roberts (Camilla), Stan Roberts; sister, Mattie Rachael Davis (John); grandchildren, Jake Roberts, Rylee Baldwin, Brooke Roberts, Laura Roberts, Hannah Roberts, Wesley Roberts, Anna Roberts; great-grandchildren; Carlee Baldwin, Jace Carter Roberts and Paxtyn Little.

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 31, 2017, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at New Hebron Pentecostal Church in New Hebron, MS. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 am with Pastor Clifford Hilton officiating. Interment will follow in New Hebron Pentecostal Church Cemetery.
