General-Elect Fitch Announces Transition Team
Conducts Listening Sessions with Mississippians
Madison, MS. Attorney General-Elect Lynn Fitch is pleased to announce the leaders in law, business, government, and law enforcement who have joined her transition team, under the leadership of her co-chairs James H. Herring and Curt Hébert.
“During this campaign, I set a strong and comprehensive agenda for our Attorney General’s Office to execute in the coming four years,” said Attorney General-Elect Lynn Fitch, “and I am grateful that these Mississippi leaders are willing to lend their experience and knowledge as advisors to help us hit the ground running in January.”

This week, Attorney General-Elect Fitch and her transition team will meet with additional stakeholders from across the State to focus on the specific items of her agenda. Eight in-depth sessions will be held December 2-5 with a variety of stakeholders. The sessions focus on law enforcement and prosecutors, the opioid crisis, human trafficking, victims’ assistance (particularly for children, seniors, veterans, domestic violence victims, and the mentally ill), the business community, consumer protection, and criminal justice reform.
