Gary Dean Canoy, 61 of Mount Olive, MS passed away Saturday, August 17, 2024 at his home in Mount Olive, MS. He was born Friday, September 21, 1962 in Jackson, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee, 302 Eight Ave SW, Magee, Mississippi. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 22, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee. Burial will follow in Magee City Cemetery in Magee, Mississippi. Bro. H.B Floyd and Bro. Red Bowen will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. 601-849-5031

He was preceded in death by his father, W.T.  Canoy.

Survivors include his daughter, Lace Garrett  (Paul); son, Mason Canoy  (Chynna); mother, Doris  Barr Canoy;  grandchildren, Jaydon  Anderson and Ledger Canoy;  brothers, Perry  Canoy and Kevin  Curran.

Pallbearers will be Josh Bruce, Allen Smith, Eric McDonald, Brandon Cockrell, Chris Canoy, and Phillip Chisholm.

Honorary pallbearers will be Anthony Swain and Rocky Canoy.
