Thursday, September 12, 2019, Diane McPhail, Donna Hankins, and I traveled to Peoples Bank in Collins for their annual Platinum Club fall luncheon.  We go to Collins because Donna’s grandson, Josh Hankins, is employed at the Collins branch…and we’ve got to support grandchildren.

The event is always informative with planned trips for the coming year.  As James Smith, really what people come for is food and prizes!  There was plenty of both of those things!

Upon entering the meeting room, everyone is given a numbered ticket.  When the drawings being, everyone has their ticket front and center.  Everyone who attended the event went away with a prize (a nice neck pillow).  Some of us…got even more!  Donna won a cute message board.  I won a table decoration.

The luncheon is a great time to meet and make new friends.  Lillian Thomas from Collins and the Atwoods from Seminary were guest at our table. As you know, we all had plenty to talk about!
