If you have not been to the Mississippi State Fair, make the trip! The fair is clean and full of free entertainment.
Our own Commissioner of Agriculture and Commerce Andy Gipson is in charge of the show! …and he is putting on quite a show!
I can’t go to the fair without a biscuit and Andy’s truck is located next to the Biscuit Booth. Andy and I had a few minutes to visit. He told me that every effort had been made to keep the fair clean.
I believe he has succeeded! The fair grounds were spotless. The midway was full of people…but not trash!
The fair will remain open through Monday. Of course, the food is wonderful! I love people watching…and the fair is the perfect place.
Thank you Andy for working hard to make our MS State Fair a success.
(I do believe the cool weather will make the annual fair even better!)
