DSC_1080 DSC_1086 A large crowd was on hand for the ribbon cutting on the new frontage road.

DSC_1078Mayor Clyde welcomed and thanked everyone for attending. Mayor Clyde spoke to the audience briefly. He thanked the Mississippi Department of Transportation and Southern District Commissioner, Tom King, for the opportunity to participate in the extension of the frontage road under an MDOT Federal Aid LPA Project. He also thanked the City of Magee Board of Alderman, Eddie Loftin, Murry Keith, Lane Steele, Patrick Brown, and Dale Berry, for their financial commitment to this project on behalf of the City of Magee.

Mayor Clyde also thanked the staff of MDOT for their assistance and guidance. Mayor Clyde also thanked Buddy Wolverton, of Wolverton Engineering, and contractor, W.E. Blaine and Sons, Inc., a contractor who is located only a few short miles south of us, Commissioner King and his staff.
