reedMaddie Ellen Maddox, 5 year old daughter of Reed and Diana Maddox, enjoyed hunting with her dad this weekend.  If you know Maddie Ellen, you know it was a difficult task to keep her quiet and watch for the turkeys.  After careful coaching from her dad, Maddie Ellen got the big gobbler.  From big bows to big gobblers, Maddie Ellen pulled the trigger and shot the gobbler weighing in at 18 pounds with a 10″ beard.  This gobbler was killed on family land in the New Hebron area.  Maddie is in K5 at Simpson Academy.

Proud grandparents are Mark and Angel Brister and Allen and Angela Maddox.  Proud Great Grandparents are Diane McPhail, Ancie Ruth Riley, and Ralph Jones.  A happy and smiling little baby sister, Maely Maddox, was home awaiting her father/daughter hunting trip in a few years.  Everyone can not wait to hear the story of this turkey hunt told by Miss Maddie Ellen.   Congratualtions Maddie!!
