A meeting of the minds???…I don’t think so…a meeting of friends. Gail Walker, Tawesia Brooks, Wanda Evans, and Sue Dickey (all maiden names!) spent two hours talking about old times…and catching up with one another’s life.
I’m the “oldie” in the bunch…and Gail is the baby…but we were all at Magee High School together. Wanda, Tawesia and I cheered together through junior high and high school.
I just love seeing my “old” friends…there is just something about people you go to school with…they know the “real” you…they saw you everyday or almost everyday for years. We grew up sharing our hopes and dreams.
My friends old or new are a treasure to me. God has richly blessed me with friends…and I am forever thankful.
Give me a shout out when YOU are going to be in Magee and maybe we can get a lunch group together with just a quick notice!
