The Simpson County Historical and Genealogical Society will host a FREE tour of the Simpson County Courthouse on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at 10:00 AM during Mendenhall in May festivities.
Appropriately titled, “Beneath the Courthouse Dome | A Storytelling Tour of the Simpson County Courthouse”, the tour will include stories of the historic building and the people who once walked its halls.
Interested individuals should meet at 9:45 AM on the front steps (south side) of the Courthouse and the tour will begin at 10:00 AM.
The Simpson County Courthouse is designated as a Mississippi Landmark and on the National Register of Historic Places.
