Frankie Merle Ham Shows, 85, of Mendenhall, passed from this life on Friday, April 01, 2016. She was born Sunday, September 21, 1930 in Mendenhall.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 06, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Kennedy Springs Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Old Good Hope Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 05, 2016 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee and Wednesday, April 6, at 10:00AM until the hour of service at Kennedy Springs Baptist Church.
Mrs. Shows was a wonderful homemaker, a talented seamstress and a former store owner.
She loved her church, her husband of 68 years, her children and grandchildren.
She loved flowers and traveling.
Mrs. Shows will be missed by all who love her. She was a great inspiration, a woman of great strength and faith, who overcame many trials and illnesses in her lifetime.
Mrs. Shows is survived by her husband: J.M. Shows, two daughters: Nancy Meaux and Becky Crout, daughter-in-law: Bonnie Shows, 9 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Bertha Ham, son, Stanley Shows and three brothers, James E., Breland, and J.L. Ham. Pallbearers will be grandsons: Jacob Crout, Laughton Crout, Jason Meaux, Joseph Meaux and Stanton Shows and great-grandsons.
