Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. Rho Iota Zeta Chapter celebrated the Sorority’s Founders’ Day by honoring Dr. King in a day of service. On January 16, 1920, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., was founded on the campus of Howard University.

The Sorority was founded on the principles of Scholarship, Service, Sisterhood, and Finerwomanhood. On January 16, 2023, Rho Iota Zeta Chapter, its youth and adult Auxilary, did highway cleanup for the stretch of Simpson Highway 149 in Mendenhall that was adopted by Rho Iota Zeta Chapter.

Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Rho Iota Zeta Chapter, Mendenhall, MS was charted in Simpson County on June 19, 1999. With over 100 members, Rho Iota Zeta continues to serve throughout the county and surrounding areas.
