A few interesting facts:

The number of companies based in China—129

The number of companies in the US—121

For the first time, the US is the low guy.

The companies are ranked on size.  Many of the largest Chinese companies are state-owned which means the government is supporting these businesses.

Ten years ago there were 43 Chinese companies.  Twenty years ago, there were 8.

The Fortune Global 500 companies generated $32.7 trillion in revenue.

There are 14 female CEO on the fortune Global 500.

Walmart claimed top stop for the 6th consecutive year.

Saudi Aramco  netted $111 billion in profits ending Apple’s three year reign as the most profitable  company.
