The Scriptural passage selected for today is found in Psalm 103:2-3: “Praise the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits–Who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases.” Again, the psalmist praises his Lord and Savior for the many blessings God has bestowed upon him. He knew God to be the source of all things, and God had proven to him many times that He would keep His promises to forgive and to heal. The psalmist could call upon his Master, and He would help him. That type of communion with God is that for which we all should strive. He is our ever-present help in time of trouble. Amen!
