The Scriptural passage selected for today is found in Ephesians 2:10: “For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” Remember that God knew us while we were yet in our mother’s womb. He shaped and fashioned us in and with love and wants only good things for us. He wants His children to interact with Him and love Him in return in a father/child relationship. How disappointing it must be when we do not return His love or take advantage of the manifold blessings He has planned in advance for us. I didn’t always please my earthly father, and I’m sure I’ve disappointed God many, many times, but I try harder now to keep our covenant vital and thriving. God expect that of us. Let’s not act as unruly children. Let’s, therefore, make it a priority to pay proper respect to our heavenly Father by returning His love. Amen!
