The Scriptural passage selected for today can be found in Matthew 7:2: “For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” How easy we humans find it to judge. We all do; yet, the BIBLE admonishes us in several places to “Judge not, lest you be judged.” It’s a conscious effort we must make as believers. The verse for today makes it abundantly clear that we will be judged in like measure as we judge others. This gives cause for pause, as it should. We need to be gentler and kinder when it comes to the judgment of our fellow man. Let us be found ever-striving to do so. Amen!
