By James Davis
The Scriptural passage chosen for today is found in Romans 15:4: “For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.” The apostle is telling early Christians and us today that the Word of God serves a very vital purpose: It helps strengthen and encourage us in our daily walk and gives us the hope we now have in Christ Jesus. The BIBLE is our guidebook, our source for truth and direction. Let us never discount its importance in our lives. Read and study the Word often, learn its vital lessons, and thank God for providing us this marvelous history of Christianity. It is, after all, “The Living BIBLE.”
Happy Friday!
