Magee Elementary FLAG students recently went on a field trip to The Institute for Marine Mammal Studies.
The students learned how important marine conservation is to marine animals.
Students enjoyed a dolphin show and a sea lion show. They also participated in an activity that allowed them to see how dolphins are rescued and transported to their facility for treatment.
The trip was a great learning experience for the students.
FLAG teacher at Magee is Leslie May.
