The July 4, 2021 fireworks display at the Jimmy Clyde Sportplex was awesome!!! The bombs bursting in air did not disappoint the large number of children and adults in attendance.
One of the things that touched me the most about the event was the number of families that gathered at the park bringing their chairs and blankets. I had no idea what a family time the fireworks have become. Happy folks were everywhere! Children pulled in wagons. Parents running after toddlers. Old people sitting in lawn chairs!
