JPD issued the following statement.
Jackson Police are investigating a shooting that occurred around 10:30pm in the 2800 block of Booker T WashingtonRobert Williams was shot while sitting inside of his Fedex truck and pronounced deceased at the scene.
Diontae Lewis was also shot once in the arm. His condition is unknown.
Witness indicated that a white vehicle pulled up and fired shots into the truck occupied by Williams and Lewis. No suspect information or motive is available at this time.
