JACKSON, MISS. – The FBI Safe Streets Task Force arrested Tiffany Snodgrass, 47, of Dale, Texas Monday evening on charges of Possession with Intent to Distribute a Controlled Substance. Snodgrass was arrested without incident in Jackson County, Mississippi.

The Task Force seized approximately 12 pounds of Crystal Methamphetamine, 13.6 grams of Black Tar Heroin and a 9mm semi-automatic pistol. If convicted, Snodgrass faces a sentence of 10 years to life in a federal penitentiary and a fine of up to $10,000,000.

Snodgrass made her initial appearance on Tuesday before United States Magistrate John C. Gargiulo, United States District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi in Gulfport, Mississippi. Magistrate Judge Gargiulo ordered Snodgrass to be held without bond following her Preliminary and Detention hearing today.

Assisting with this investigation were the South Mississippi Metropolitan Enforcement Team (MET) in Pascagoula and the United States Border Patrol.

The FBI Safe Streets Task Force is a Gulf Coast High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) initiative and receives funding from the Office of National Drug Control Policy in Washington, D.C. It is made up of Special Agents from the FBI and law enforcement officers from the Pascagoula, Moss Point, Gautier, Ocean Springs Police Departments, Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics, George County Sheriff’s Office and U.S. Border Patrol.

These charges are merely an accusation, and Snodgrass is presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
