Faye Nell Dollar Ates, 93 of Magee, MS passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at the Magee General Hospital in Magee, MS. She was born Tuesday, September 24, 1929 in Magee, Mississippi.

   Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2023 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee, Mississippi. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 24, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee, Mississippi. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Magee, Mississippi. Rev. Chris Garcia will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. 601-849-5031

    Faye was a faithful member of the Magee Congregational Methodist Church. She excelled at crocheting and sewing. Her love for her family shown in everything she did.

    She was preceded in death by her husband, Eudean “Jack”  Ates;  parents, William  Howard and  Nannie Mae Stubbs  Dollar;  brothers, Buddy  Dollar and Kent  Dollar;  sisters, Louise  Dollar and Ruby  Joyce  Sullivan.

    Survivors include her one daughter, Diana  Ates  Mills  (Jesse) of Magee, MS; three grandchildren, Janet  Mills Runnels  (Kevin ) of Mize, Jamie  Mills  Wedgeworth  (Benji) of Soso , MS and Jessica  Mills  Bridges  (Keith ) of Ellisville , MS;  four great grandchildren, Bailey Wedgeworth, Lauren  Runnels, Austin  Wedgeworth and Allyson  Bridges;  sister-in-laws, Vermell  Mangum and Ruth Ates.

    Pallbearers will be Kevin Runnels, Benji Wedgeworth, Keith Bridges, Randy Ates, Ricky Ates, and Todd Mangum.

    Honorary pallbearers will be Donald Dollar, Todd Dollar, Kim Sullivan, Colton Sullivan, and Austin Wedgeworth.
