Where to go on a Saturday morning…the Farmer’s Market in Magee.  You will receive a smile, even a  handshake, and a hug as you browse the home grown, home made, home cooked goodies.

🎉 Mississippi Watermelon Festival Set for July 19–20 in Mize! 🍉

July 11, 2025

Fifteen years ago today I began my new job here in Magee.  Not knowing but just a handful of people, it was a nervous time for me.  Seeing the smiles and friendliness of each one at Magee’s Market this morning, it reminded me of why I still call Magee my home.

Another reason why Magee is wonderful…. everyone is family.

Bro. Buddy and Mrs. Jackie Keyes had their grandchildren helping out with their produce stand.

Mr. Billy Lofton had his grill loaded and smelling divine with some help from his grandson.

I had a call on Friday asking me what to do to get set up to sell at the Farmer’s Market.   So I called up the City Hall and the lady stated to come by and fill out some paperwork.  There is no charge.

You have all week to get everything signed and ready for the next Farmer’s Market.   We will see you next Saturday between 9-1 in the Community House Parking Lot next to First Baptist Church Magee.
